Credits are Imagefall’s single currency for generation work. Instead of separate quotas for photos, videos, and 3D, your plan gives you a monthly pool of credits and each action draws from it. The cost of every action is shown before you run it — you’ll never find out what something cost from your invoice.
What each action costs
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Background removal | 1 |
| Lifestyle scene | 2 |
| On-model shot | 3 |
| Product video (5s) | 6–10 |
| 3D / AR asset (beta) | 10 |
| Listing Studio refresh | 8–15 (template-dependent, +10 with 3D) |
A Listing Studio refresh is a bundle of steps, which is why its cost varies with the template you pick — a packshot-and-scenes template costs less than one that adds an on-model shot and premium video.
Monthly allowances
- Starter ($19.99/mo): 100 credits
- Growth ($49.99/mo): 400 credits, plus the 3D beta
- Scale ($99.99/mo): 1,200 credits, plus the priority queue
The free plan doesn’t use credits at all — it has fixed allowances (a full audit, one refresh, alt text for 5 images).
Rollover
Unused credits roll over for one month. Finish a Growth month with 150 credits left and your next month starts at 550. Rolled-over credits are spent first; if they go unused a second month, they expire. Rollover keeps a slow month from being wasted without letting balances grow forever.
Running out, and getting credits back
Hitting zero pauses new generation until your next monthly refill — your audit, scores, and everything already applied keep working. You can also upgrade mid-cycle, which takes effect immediately.
If a generation step fails, its credits are refunded automatically — you only ever pay for delivered work. The details are in Troubleshooting failed steps.
