Imagefall is designed so that your first ten minutes already produce something useful: a scored audit of your whole catalog and one free Listing Studio refresh you can apply to a real product. Here’s the path from install to your first improved listing.
1. Install and connect
Install Imagefall from the Shopify App Store. Installation uses Shopify’s standard app permissions — Imagefall reads your products and their images so it can score and improve them. It never publishes, edits, or deletes anything on its own: every change is reviewed and approved by you first.
2. Let the audit run
Right after connecting, Imagefall scans your catalog and gives every product a Visual Performance Score — a measure of how well its imagery is likely to convert, based on factors like image count, resolution, background quality, lifestyle context, and missing alt text. Alongside the score you’ll see a revenue-impact estimate: roughly what weak imagery is costing the listing. The audit is completely free and covers your entire store, on every plan.
3. Run your free refresh
The free plan includes one full Listing Studio refresh. Pick a product — the audit will suggest the listings with the most to gain — choose a template, and let the studio work. In a few minutes you’ll have a hero packshot, lifestyle scenes, a short product video, and SEO alt text, all generated from a photo you already had.
4. Review, then apply
Nothing goes to your store automatically. The review gallery shows every generated asset next to your current imagery; approve the ones you like and apply them to Shopify in one click. Anything you skip is simply never published. See Reviewing and applying assets for details.
What the free plan includes
- Full store audit with Visual Performance Scores — always free

The free plan doesn’t use credits — these are fixed allowances. When you’re ready for more, paid plans start at $19.99/month with a 14-day free trial. How credits work is covered in Understanding credits.
